The 8th Annual NEXUS Global Summit will convene July 26-28 in New York City.

The summit is an exclusive gathering of 600+ leading next gen philanthropists, impact investors, and social innovators from nearly 70 countries. We will hear from inspiring young leaders and explore solutions to pressing problems facing our generation and the world in 2018 and beyond.

Ocean Global Change Biology is a multidisciplinary field and includes investigators working in numerous marine ecosystems, ranging from the open ocean to coral reefs. The field also integrates numerous techniques and approaches to understand how populations of marine organisms will respond to the complex, multiple stressor scenario emerging in the contemporary world ocean, and in future ocean change that we expect in the coming decades.

The Ocean Global Change Biology GRC seeks to synthesize new research directions, and identify synergies across subdisciplines, using a boundary spanning approach to understand the response of marine organisms and ecosystems to environmental change. 

 The meeting aims to include cutting-edge research and perspectives from diverse fields (e.g. ecology, physiology, omics, biophysics, mathematics, modeling) in order to adequately characterize, contextualize and elucidate the interactive environments and consequences of marine microbes.

Ocean SOS is a uniquely designed summit integrating both local and international officials, funders, innovators, academics, and other stakeholders to create a global network among regenerative ocean initiatives with a focus on bridging next-gen approaches in technology, decentralization, community governance, blended funding, and cultural integration.
